I have accepted the appointment as Professor of Business Analytics at the School of Business and Economics of the Philipps-Universität Marburg, starting November 1, 2026. Until then, I am a postdoctoral researcher in information systems at the Institute of Business Analytics (University of Ulm). My research focuses on the trustworthy and responsible use of data and AI in decision-making: from the quality of the underlying data to AI-supported decisions that people can understand, critically question, and take responsibility for. I completed my dissertation entitled “Big Data (Quality) Analytics – Contributions to the Assessment of Data Quality and Data-Driven Decision-Making” at the University of Ulm with highest honors (“summa cum laude”) in November 2022.
